1500x500_2016Headliners

Pittsburgh Comedy Festival combines the best comedy in the ‘Burgh with incredible acts from around the country. Each year, we choose two big-name headliners to complement our lineup of submitted acts – unique performers whose talents we know will wow the pants off our eager audiences.

PCF is only in its third year, but the excitement around our headliner announcements is already becoming a tradition. We couldn’t be more stoked to share the incredible performers we’ve got in the works for this year. So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, let’s hear it for your PCF2016 headliners!
Quincy Jones
Quincy’s star is rising fast. (His first-ever HBO special, “Burning the Light” debuts June 2, so set your DVRs now!) In July 2015, Quincy was diagnosed with stage 4 mesothelioma, which is a rare form of cancer. Did that slow him down? Heck no! This inspiring stand-up has been delighting comedy crowds and TV audiences alike with his nonchalant, yet energetic attitude, positive perspective, and hilariously relatable humor.
Sheldon
One name. Two very talented improvisers. This long-form improv duo is comprised of Chicago comedy mainstays Rob Belushi and Jon Barinholtz. For both, comedy runs in the family, and it shows through their┬ácaptivating, high-energy performances filled with comically true-to-life characters. Sheldon has headlined the Chicago Improv Festival three times and performed at iO Chicago, Crossroads, the Detroit Improv Festival, the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and the Atlanta Improv Festival to boot. And now, they’re heading to Pittsburgh!
Want to catch these amazing acts along with many, many more? Stay tuned – details on our full lineup, workshops for experienced comedians and new comedy lovers alike, programming for the whole family, and ticket info are coming soon!
